Iyashi Dôme celebrates 15th anniversary of its groundbreaking Japanese-style sauna

For more than 300 years, the Japanese have enjoyed the therapeutic value of bathing in the warm sand which is found in certain curative thermal springs.

This form of cure, called Suna Ryoho, allows the body to eliminate accumulated toxins by sweating.

In these very specific places, energy from the earth and the sun heats the sand, giving it special properties, including natural, long infrared emissions.

In 2004, Shogoro Uemura, CEO of Iyashi Dôme, was inspired by his father’s work to create a new treatment protocol based on the Japanese tradition of sand bathing.

Shogoro Uemura discovered his father was collaborating with a group of researchers on cellular regeneration research, specialising in supporting people who were experiencing the harmful effects of being exposed to radioactivity and polluted, stressful environments.

This was the idea behind the creation of the Iyashi Dôme, the Japanese sauna.

A pioneer and leader in infrared therapy, Iyashi Dôme celebrates 15 years in 2019 and is proud to be able to provide everyone with access to natural and safe care, which offers detoxification, slimming, anti-aging, and muscle recovery, thanks to the healing properties of long infrared.

The Iyashi Dôme is a beauty care device designed for wellbeing and health professionals, acting gently but deeply on the body and face.

Iyashi Dôme is the first company on the market to have conducted clinical studies on detoxification, slimming and anti-aging, with medical publications accessible to all and which you can find HERE.
